The Internet without Net-Neutrality
This image is beginning to float around as a case in point of what may happen if we accept paying for all the services we have already begun to enjoy for free. I’m interested in hearing what the class has to say about net-neutrality this upcoming Friday and whether you think that there should be a model like the one above if net-neutrality loses ground. Obama has been a supporter of net-neutrality through his campaign and within his presidency with the successful nomination Julius Genachowski, a net-neutrality advocate, to the FCC chairmanship. I hope it will be only a matter of time that net-neurtality laws will be strongly put in place. We’ll have to wait and see.
